The summer is almost over, we hope you had a wonderful summer break. September is upon us however we wanted to share with you this resource to help take some of the pain away.

Amongst all the political uncertainty, one thing we’re sure of is that come autumn, there will be a new careers guidance strategy from Government for schools and colleges to take heed of.

It’s widely accepted that this new strategy will act on the key recommendations put forward recently by the Sub-Committee on Education, Skills & the Economy. This included proposals for schools to hold a nationally validated careers award alongside incentives for schools to raise the standard of their careers provision, at the same time as giving sharper teeth to Ofsted in judging the extent to which this has been achieved.

With this in mind, if you’re already working towards a careers award, we’ve mapped our careers software – Start – to the national standards for all awards… saving you precious time and energy
