New partnership is out of this world!

Intergalactic careers advice will never be so exciting thanks to a new partnership between education media company U-Explore and national organisation Space Connections.

The partnership will aim to inspire young people to think about careers in space projects and boost the numbers of young people choosing to study and work in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Andy Pickles, Chief Executive of U-Explore, said: "As U-Explore continues to grow its partner network to enable us to bring added value and excitement to our National schools platform, we are proud to announce a truly exciting addition to our network through a partnership with Space Connections.

"A key part of our mission is to manage young people's perception of industries and bring a context to learning. Through this partnership with Space Connections, young people will have access to some amazing content to broaden their horizons and provide an understanding of what, in some ways, is a mystical sector, while teachers will get access to fantastic resources to support the delivery of science, technology, engineering and maths."

Helen Barraclough, Managing Director of Space Connections, added: "Space Connections is extremely excited about our new partnership with U-Explore. We are delighted to be working in partnership with such an innovative company that is already enriching the lives of so many young people across the UK. Space is exciting, inspiring and stimulating!

"Using space in education is a fantastic way to motivate young people, spark their imaginations and release creativity and at Space Connections we aim to bring these experiences to young people, families and educators.  Our new partnership will, undoubtedly, raise the aspiration and attainment of our future generation workforce and maybe highlight the career pathway for our next generation of astronauts."
