U-Explore Interactive is transforming learning in Hull, according to a senior educational figure in the city.
Margaret Woodcock, Senior Development Support Officer, says that U-Explore Interactive has had a great reaction from teachers who are finding a number of ways to use it with their students and that the extra implementation support provided by U-Explore is adding to its success.
She said: "We have had a fantastic reaction to U-Explore Interactive. There are so many ways in which it can be used. We use it to support Diplomas, option processes, enterprise, work experience, PLTS, careers education, PHSE lessons, tutorials, assemblies - the list goes on.
"We had lots of teachers who were not associated with careers thinking they would get nothing from it. However, following the implementation days they are now busy planning how to incorporate it into their curriculum lessons. We monitor the use of U-Explore each month and since implementation, the numbers have significantly increased, we are also getting more expressions of interest from the students."
Margaret is also delighted with the way in which young people have taken to using U-Explore Interactive, some even using it at home in their own time.
She added: "The product really engages young people. We are now finding that many of them are using U-Explore Interactive at home with their parents / carers. In fact we had 156 visits one weekend!"
