U-Explore Schools are ready for September ... are you?
29/07/10
An update from Andy Pickles, CEO of U-Explore:
U-Explore was born from the belief that young people should be able to access good quality impartial careers advice and guidance, hosted on an immersive employer-led platform accessible both at home and at school.
It was also our belief that if this was achieved it would have a long term impact on young people's futures and would help to create a future workforce more informed, more prepared and ultimately ‘ready for work'.
This was in 2004, roll on six years to 2010 and the thinking hasn't changed but the notion has become a reality.
The timing for U-Explore couldn't be better as schools now have to prepare to deliver the Government's new Statutory Careers Information, Advice and Guidance framework for 11 - 19 year olds from September 2010.
Due to this foresight U-Explore is now able to provide direct solutions for the required learning outcomes to enable schools to effectively deliver the new entitlement for young people. To offer just a few examples, U-Explore:
I am delighted to say that by September 2010, any school or college using U-Explore can be rest assured that they have a comprehensive solution that meets the needs of the 21st Century learner for as little as £1 per student per year.
