Buy U-Explore

Boss' blog Sept 09

Firstly, welcome to the new look U-Explore website, which like all good company websites has been designed to offer you concise and easily accessible updates and information about our business, our people and our products. Across the top you will see four coloured tabs covering the key areas of our business - Education, Projects, Business and very soon a link to our proposed academy. You will never be more than three clicks away from what you want!

Another subtle change is the new U-Explore logo which has now incorporated the 'E' back into U-Explore. We had lengthy debates in the office over this issue but after lots of chin scratching, a variety of logos and some soul searching we decided to welcome the 'E' into our world and alleviate one of our problems when explaining how to spell 'u-xplore' to people!

Not content with a new website and a new logo, U-Explore is also moving into a new 5000 sq ft office in Rotherham in October (if everything goes to plan) which will enable the business to continue to grow to a projected 40 staff within the next year to 18 months. The new offices will really bring a new dynamic to the business and allow us to create the kind of working environment which motivates our team and our visitors, one that is truly representative of U-Explore.

So by October we should be in our new building ready to embark on what I believe will be an incredible year ahead with a passionate team of people focused on delivering a product and methodology which we believe will have a huge impact on young people's lives.

This is being evidenced everyday via the comments and requests which come from young people via the 'Express your interest section' on U-Explore Interactive such as this: "This is a very good piece of software but I would liked to have known about it a week ago as it would greatly help me choose my options which I gave in three days ago. It isn't all based on lots and lots of writing; it has pictures to act as links to other pages which makes this more exciting and eye-catching. This software has opened me up to lots more jobs than I knew about.”

And finally, it is always refreshing to read what another organisation says about your business as part of a professional evaluation and so I will leave you with this from Elizabeth Crofts at Edexcel:

"U-Explore is a dynamic and innovative organisation which embraces change. It is to be commended on the high quality product which it has developed. A product, which is written for today's youth and exudes energy and dynamism. The resources open windows for young people into realms where they would not otherwise look. Young people cannot be expected to know what they have not experienced and U-Explore Interactive allows online experiences which mirror the actual world of work. The training programme for teachers to train them to work with young people through the online resources is designed for professionals with limited time and perhaps limited technical expertise. Consequently, training is delivered in an effective, efficient and interesting format. It is inspiring and relevant training."
